72 and perfect blue is the Hop Sauce Forecast

Each year, the Hop Sauce Fest team keeps a watchful eye on the sky and the atmosphere in general. (After all Jetty has been running Clam Jam and Coquina Jam surf contests for ten years, which are far more meteorologically dependent.) What started out as a dodgy forecast has gotten better all week looking like 72 and perfect blue to start the event, getting a little warmer throughout the day. In other words - ideal for food, hot sauce, craft beer and live music.

Our old friend Jonathan Carr at WeatherNJ put out a post breaking down the weather for this year:

"The entire region will be under the influence of high pressure this Saturday which means pleasant and dry sinking air. Temperatures in Beach Haven should start the event at 11am in the upper-60s. Temperatures should then rise into the mid-70s during core event hours and likely dip back down into the upper-60s/lower-70s when the event concludes at 7PM. Skies should be mixed with sun and clouds (fair-weather + typical afternoon summery build). Winds should be light out of the west/northwest. Again, Hop Sauce Festival weather is looking pretty good. Everyone please have a great time, use sunblock, drink responsibly and be safe! JC"

Sounds pretty good to us. We'll see you tomorrow in Beach Haven.
